Small Business Review is published by one of Tennessee's largest commercial banks for its customers, circulation is about 100,000. East Tenn. Small Business Journal goes to more than 25,000 business owners and managers in the Oak Ridge -- Chattanooga Technology Corridor.
For many of the articles I also took photos or used a CAD program to make technical sketches for illustration. My office has an extensive inventory of computer, printing, scanning, and photographic equipment to support writing projects.
Chief among the requirements for successful journal writing is the ability to work closely with an editor, but independently, with little or no supervision, and to aggressively seek the information and images needed for articles.
Editors also demand dependability and promptness; I have been commended for both.
